Our chiropractors explain chiropractic to our patients like this: our focus is the spine and its relationship to the nervous system, which coordinates communication throughout the body. Your spine protects the nervous system, and if it’s not moving properly, that may affect how well the nervous system functions. Our job as chiropractors is to assess those areas of the spine and work to restore proper motion, as part of supporting your overall health.
Our Approach to Care
At Canberra Spine Centre, our team is committed to a thorough approach at every stage of your care. When you come to our practice, we’re on a fact-finding mission to understand what’s actually causing your problem.
We take a detailed medical history, gathering the facts relevant to your case. Next is an in-depth spinal examination, complete with orthopaedic and neurological testing. If X-rays are deemed necessary, we can do them on-site. All this occurs on the first visit.
Once we have all the necessary information, our team puts together a plan based on what we’ve found, and we’ll explain what we recommend and why before any care goes ahead.

Back Pain Treatment starts with an assessment of what's actually driving your pain, with in-house digital X-ray available on the same visit where it's clinically appropriate. Care is tailored to what we find, so two people with back pain don't necessarily leave with the same plan.

Neck Pain Treatment takes the time to explain the why behind the pain, so you understand what's actually changed and what your care is addressing. It's one of the most common reasons desk-based Canberrans come to see us, particularly after long hours at a screen.
